Jason Mraz: Freedom Song, nueva canción y letra. Primer single de Life For Good

Mañana es la fecha prevista de salida del nuevo trabajo de Jason Mraz. Bajo el título de Life For Good, el mundialmente conocido por su I’m Yours publica un EP de cinco temas en directo y que tendrá como primer single su versión del Freedom Song.

Este EP es una pequeña recopilación de temas inéditos, y alguna versión, en directo extraídos de varios de sus conciertos por todo el mundo. Contendrá los temas Coyotes, Disco Reggaefornia, Up, What Mama Say y, el primer single, Freedom Song. Esta colección de directos sirve de antesala de su nuevo disco, el cuarto, y del que se barajan los títulos Peace Canoe o The Love Album.

Como tema presentación ha escogido el himno Freedom Song, original del grupo Luc & the Lovingtons, un proyecto musical con objetivos solidarios y temáticas sociales. El tema es una maravilla y encima tiene como objetivo ayudar a los muchos esclavos que aún existen en el mundo. Como muestra, os dejo también la reciente colaboración en directo de Jason Mraz y los autores originales del tema.

Nelly Furtado: Night Is Young, nueva canción y letra. Primer single de su nuevo recopilatorio

Ya conocemos el título del nuevo disco de Nelly Furtado y, tras varias especulaciones, se llamará finalmente The Best Of Nelly Furtado. Sí, la misma cara he puesto yo al enterarme que las filtraciones de días pasados correspondían a un disco recopilatorio que tendrá como primer single el inédito Night Is Young.

Primero se filtró como una demo titulada Free y, posteriormente, supimos gracias auna supuesta portada oficial que se titularía What You Want to Do (The Night Is Young), aunque el tema que acaba de estrenar la BBC se llama únicamente Night Is Young. Como era de esperar, se trata de un tema bailable, con tintes dance, pegadizo, pero poco original.

Nelly Furtado con este greatest hits recopilará sus diez años de carrera, en los que ha vendido más de veinte millones de discos. Aparte de sus conocidos hit mundiales, la canadiense incluirá tres temas nuevos. Junto a este primer single, encontraremos un tema producido por Salaam Remi titulado Girlfriend y otro por Lester Mendez llamado Stars. El 15 de noviembre a la venta.
